I’m not sure if I just didn’t see that this book is based off of using “Young Living†essential oils but a large portion of the recipes call for a specific blend made by YL. I do not buy or follow this brand so I feel very mislead and for the price I paid I could have bought something more useful to my needs. There are a couple of recipes without the use of YL oils but not many so that’s why I gave 2 stars. And because it came in timely manner as described. If you DO NOT purchase YL essential oils, you DO NOT want to buy this book. Anybody who does purchase YL, you may find this useful as a quick reference guide to recipes. Most recipes are for the assistance with mood. There are a total of 45 different recipes the other 15 are variations included in some of them.
I love this little gem of a book. All of Jen's books feel like velvet and are perfect for all things aromatherapy and wellness. She's also an extraordinary woman. One day I'll meet her in person!
Jen O'Sullivan has an excellent grasp of what oils work for various things. There are recipes for many types of needs, and gives easy to understand instructions on combining the ingredients and uses, from topical applications to roll-ons as well as diffusing! I will refer to this often!
This little book of recipes may be small but mighty! Just packed with a variety of essential oil recipes. What a great tool to have in my arsenal of detoxing my body and life. Jen is so knowledgeable and giving. A must have for any oiler.
I'm sorry but I expected more for the price. To me, this is more like a little booklet for about $3.50, but definitely not an $8.50 book. I did not expect this after reading all ofthe 5 star reviews. Very disappointed with my purchase.
This essential oil recipe book is beautiful. The recipes are so easy to follow and understand. I absolutely love the hair serum. The recipes are in small quantities so you don’t waste much if you don’t like it. I am excited to hear that this author is working on a bigger recipe book for essential oils. I also love her book titled Vitality.
Love it! I like that it tell you where to roll the oils and how much to use in a daily and layering the oils...oh how wonderful! Can't wait for the add ons.😉
Jen O’Sullivsn has done it again! Another go-to reference on using YL Essential Oils. A must for everyone’s Oily Library. This new updated version is so totally awesome. Her extra information is the bomb and well worth it.
